Very disappointing
Although most of the staff were lovely and very helpful, the room was a complete letdown. It was tiny with no room to put your case, no shelf in the bathroom to put toiletries on, the wardrobe door could not be opened further than 45 degrees due to space & the coffee facilities (including the plug socket) were in there and at the bottom making it impossible to make a drink, the bathroom wasn’t properly cleaned and worst of all the bed was hard as nails meaning very little sleep due to constantly waking up in pain. We were moved to another room but not much better. All of this for an absolute fortune (£334.80 per night) because there was a rugby match on.

Great trip
Really enjoyed our stay. Room was lovely and quiet. Can’t comment on food as didn’t eat in the hotel. All staff really friendly and helpful especially Barnaby in the bar. Look forward to returning. The anniversary card and sweet treats was a lovely touch too. Nice toiletries in bathroom too

Nice Hotel
Loved our stay at the Murrayfield Hotel. We arrived on an early flight and it was no problem to have our luggage stored until check-in time. The receptionist was very welcoming. It was a Rugby weekend so the hotel was very busy but this didn’t affect our stay. We had a lovely meal in the restaurant and our waitress was very friendly and welcoming. Being on the bus route from the airport into town makes this hotel really convenient. We will definitely stay again.

Super comfy beds - not a creak or a squeak! Deep topper and deep, soft pillows. Crisp bedding and fluffy towels. Lucky to stay /upgrade to The House next door to the Hotel. Delicious full Scottish breakfast. Staff very attentive and helpful.

it is a lovely hotel, huge room and even although there was a huge sporting event happening, we did manage to find parking. The staff is very lovely and friendly. The restaurant had a great atmosphere and delicious food. We very much enjoyed our stay here.

The staff at the bar were very slow; we waited for 10 minutes to order our drinks. Additionally, the breakfast service was slow, and we waited for half an hour. The fried eggs were solid and hard. Furthermore, our room was tiny, and it was excessively warm because the radiator was on, and we couldn't turn it off.

Excellent location with free parking. Close to murrayfield and tram stop. Nice breakfast and food in restaurant. Staff very friendly and attentive especially Lindsey on reception so friendly and chatty.
