The large wooden furniture between the bed and the sitting area made it difficult to get around the bed. There was very little space to maneuver from the window side of the bed to the bathroom. The sofa/couch was so low to the ground that it was very uncomfortable. The photos of the rooms seem to indicate a larger space which seemed somewhat deceiving. It was also very noisy due to construction very close to the building. I would not recommend this property.

Great location by far! Near train station but not in a seedy area. Easy walk to everything. Photos accurately depicted the room. Apartment 19 was up one flight of stairs. Suggest that they eliminate scented diffuser. We couldn’t stand the smell so in the closet it went.

The apartment was on the top floor which was a long way up without elevator. The apartment itself was well appointed, very clean, spacious and the bed was a bit hard but still comfortable. Despite the long trek upstairs, the view from the bedroom was spectacular. Quiet and serene. Highly recommended, just not if you have disabilities.

Perfect location

We were able to book an option accessible by the lift (up to 3rd floor only) so that was tremendously helpful for one with a handicap. The key-free access was very easy. One major point of confusion and con for access is that the train station is on a street below and the option to get to the apartment was a climb of many stairs with your luggage - not an option for the handicapped. We got a tip from a local to cheat and use a lift for another business, awkward, but it saved us. The apartment was lovely and was well supplied with the minor exception of wash cloths. We could not get the tv to work, but there was little need for it. The fans were very welcome in the bedrooms and the windows opened for fresh air. The location is fabulous, right near the mile with many dining/drinking/shopping locations.

From the moment I arrived to the time I left, I couldn’t gave felt more welcomed and treated like a family guest in their home. Kenny, the host, is perfectly suited to his profession. The room was very clean, quiet, comfortable, and well-equipped. The breakfast served each morning was incredible. Made to order for each guest. It is only a short walk to downtown Inverness where you can find everything and anything. Do yourself a favor, stop looking for somewhere else to stay in Inverness. Just book Silverstrands now and you won’t need to stress about if you made the right choice.

Fabulous location close to the Royal Mile. Great room and comfortable bed. The only down side was the noise from the street and from other guests— the entrance area echos and if guests come in late and noisy, it’s hard to sleep through. I’d stay here again but I’d bring white noise or ear plugs.

The apartment was wonderfully located and immaculate. Compared to similar priced hotel rooms this was great to have more space and a fully stocked kitchen.

Overall we enjoyed our stay at the Linton Collection. NOTE: I did not pay attention to the emails as closely as I should have so I was shocked to see there was no front desk/check-in on-site. We had to sit in the Pret to use the internet so we could eventually get in. It was a bit noisy and there was a lot of construction on the building next door. Hopefully that will be over soon. It is in a PERFECT location for all the things. As long as you are not a super light sleeper, you will love it.

Such a perfect apartment for a weekend in Edinburgh. It was fully equipped with kitchen utensils. The decor was beautiful and room was spacious and clean. It's just off the Royal mile so most sights are easily within walking distance, will definitely return on my next visit to Edinburgh!

An oasis in Edinburgh

The age of the building is part of the charm but the modernizations of the efficiency and bathroom made it a great stay. Location was perfect for exploring the city. Quiet inside just like the closes are all over town. Great place.

Fantastic Stay

This was an amazing stay. Great location, very clean, lots of room, and quiet. Elevator went to third floor then we had two flights of stairs. I will definitely stay there again.
