Wir haben uns nach 5 Jahren zum ersten Mal einen Kurzurlaub ohne unsere Kids gegönnt. Da wir nicht gerade im Geld schwimmen, haben wir uns gesagt, dass wir ein günstigeres Gästehaus suchen, da wir ja eh selten im Zimmer sind. Wir sind häufig in Backpackers in Südafrika unterwegs gewesen, aber so etwas haben wir noch nie erlebt.
Das Zimmer mit Doppelbett und Einzelbett (das wir nur gebucht, und extra teurer bezahlt haben, weil wir ein eigenes Bad wollten) war plötzlich nur ein Zweibettzimmer. Auf Nachfrage wurde uns gesagt, wir seien ja nur zu zweit, und brauchten keine 3 Betten... naja, aber wieso dann nicht das Doppelbett??? Das Zimmer selbst war sehr eklig, und nicht sauber. Das „Bad“ war eine einzige Katastrophe. Eine art Kabine, fleckig, unsauber und nicht einmal mit einem Duschvorhang. Man hätte nicht einmal die Toilettensachen im „Bad“ lassen können, es wäre alles nass geworden.
Neben dem einen Bett gab es einen Wandkasten, aus dem jeweils ein abartiger Lärm zu hören war, wenn jemand unten das Gemeinschaftsbad benutzte.
Wir wollten uns ein paar schöne Tage gönnen, und dann das! Uns war zum Weinen zu mute! Wir haben dort keine Nacht verbracht, und mussten uns kurzfristig eine andere Unterkunft suchen.
Und die Bilder, welche man bei der Buchung sieht, haben bei Gott nicht viel mit der Realität zu tun.
