Great quiet location but in walking distance to all attractions. Friday and attentive staff throughout our stay. Lots of choice for breakfast both hot and cold items and a variety of drinks. We had a wonderful four night stay at the Cairns Hotel. Bala was amazing at check in. It is an older hotel with character, in an excellent walking location from Waverly Train Station and the local bus is a minute walk up the street, would definitely recommend staying at the Caitns Hotel when in Edinburgh.
