I knew when I checked in and the front desk person was chewing gum with her mouth open, that things would not go well. I had an issue with a staff member knocking on my door at 10.30pm and waking me to hand over brochures that were meant for another room. I had an issue with a terrible odour in my bathroom because the housemaids were not putting water regularly into the bathroom floor drain. The hotel is in a great location but old and desperately needs renovating. Julia and Michael in guest services were amazing and should be rewarded.
