The first-floor room we had reserved was not available, even though we reserved it five days in advance. We were offered a different room on the 2nd floor at the same price. No hand towels, no coffee, and the bedsheet had pieces of dirt or sand between it and the mattress pad. The staff were very courteous and friendly. Checkout at the Kioske was confusing because there was no place to put our room keys.

10 out of 10 DO NOT RECOMMEND!! You have to check in via a kiosk which only works about 25% of the time!! Super inconvenient. If you need anything, you better hope it’s during the 10am-5pm time someone MIGHT be at the front desk and they may decline your request. The doors to get out of the lobby are keycard required but only work half of the time so it’s possible you are locked out and unable to get to your room. It’s a literal disaster!!

I contacted the property and he suggest I contact you to get ahold of their financial team for a refund. Manager Lupe Colon at woodspring suites in East Lansing , Mi. Was my contact. One of the queen beds in my double queen booking obviously was not stripped and new linens applied, there was mucus and drool on the fitted sheet at the headboard. Lack of front desk staff after 10pm made it impossible for any kind of support or satisfactory customer service. Lupe Colon said it was ok to put his name in this request for refund and youcan reach out to him. Thank You.
As early as 10pm this was my only means to check in, no customer service. Paper not loaded in kiosk so no receipt issued.
What appeared to be saliva and mucus, not just stains but actual matter.

I had a feeling that people lived there. The floor in the room was not the most cleanest. There was only 2 bath towels 1 for each person. I like a towel for my body and a towel for my hair. It was very cold when I first stepped into the room. I don’t know why but it wasn’t easy getting the room and paying for it. I had reservations! If it hadn’t been it being New Years Eve I would have gone to a different place. I just stood there in the entry room for a few minutes; like they were doing a background check on me or something. I asked the guy on the machine if there was something wrong. He said he had to talk to his manager. This place was very different and weird. I will not be going back.

I truly enjoyed my stay at WoodSprings Suites.. The staff, housekeepers and, maintenance crew are excellent.. I’ve never stayed in an extended stay with a stovetop, dishwasher with dishes, large fridge in it.. It gives home vibes.. It’s so clean and I have so much peace being here. I would definitely recommend this place..
