Check in was a nightmare after hours. They had a remote counter for check-in. You had to ring them up, and then go to the machine to get checked in. I waited almost 5 mins just to get someone to pick up the call after multiple dials, then, I was told she was checking in someone else from a different location and that it’d take 5 mins. I waited for 5 mins, nothing, called back again and redid the same thing. Total wait time was 15-20 mins I could not get anyone to get back to me so I gave up and left to have dinner. When I got back and the agent was available, it went much better. Key drop off was easy for check out so that’s a plus. The room itself was clean and new, but the pillows are so thin they might as well be nonexistent, there’s a great kitchenette, but no silverware, no pots, not even a kettle. So really, it was decorative. The bathroom had one small bottle of shampoo, and one small bar of soap, that’s it. At the same price, you could get better bathroom amenities from other motel competitors. Especially since the kitchenette was not equipped with anything. Will not return unless I have no other options in the future. Value wise it’s still acceptable. But beware of everything that’s lacking and try to check-in during office hours. Traffic noises was also loud. Not the worst, but woke us up a couple times.

Stay the hell away from this place. They kicked me out for no reason. They claim that I was smoking in the room. Demanded that I come to the front desk and pay a extra $250 or to get out. Mind you this was 11:30 pm while I was sleeping. I don't even smoke!!!! Lost my money too.

Dog owners do not pick up

I accidentally booked the handicap room. Did not realize I did that. Bed was not comfortable. It’s about a foot off the ground. There were lots of people with pets. There was dog poop on grass and dog poop in hallways from owners not picking up. And dog pee in the elevator.

I booked a three day stay. On the first night we were checked into a room that had unmade beds and trash. We had to rebook into a clean room and we were charged an additional $22.00 fee. During the night at 3:00 and 4:00 other guests were running up and down the hall banging on the doors and cussing. There was no one to contact. We felt very unsafe. The next day we contacted Expedia to request a refund for the next two nights. We explained everything. We left and booked the next two nights at the Fairfield Inn in East Lansing. A horrible experience. Also the unit had no dishes or silverware for an extended stay.

Avoid this hotel - you will not be happy

Building is woodframe, not concrete between floors, so noises carried between rooms and floors. Bed was on a cheap metal frame and moved when you sat on the bed. The kitchenette had NOTHING in it - no pots, pans, dishes, silverware, etc. - No coffee maker either. The room had 2 small bathtowels and 2 washclothes. When I asked at the desk they had no more towels available and I was told the hotel doesn't use handtowels. No facial tissue in the rool either. Also no hair dryer. And finally, the hotel clerk charged me an "Incidentals fee" despite the hotels.com guarantee that all fees were included. (I hopefully had that removed when I checked out.)

There are no staff available after 5 PM. You have to check in through a kiosk with poor service if there’s room problems or problems within the room such as TV not working there are no staff available to help. No coffee in the room or in the hotel or breakfast.
