Solid business hotel with good service

Very solid business hotel with clean, bright rooms and modern ambience. Great breakfast service, good parking garage, friendly reception and restaurant staff make for a pleasant stay. Rooms have all the necessary furnishings and ameneties for business travelers, but some features could be improved (i.e. more modern TV, better lighting for work desk, etc.). The rooms are also very quiet. The only real drawback is the so-called air conditioning system - which really is just a fan blowing warm or cold air into the room. For normal weather, this is perfectly fine - but for hot and humid summers a "real" AC unit would be great to enjoy a good night's sleep. The F&B service in the restaurant and from room service are very good - and the restaurant terrace overlooking parts of the city gardens is beautiful in warm weather. The hotel is often used for corporate events and meetings, and thus, can be a bit busy sometimes. However, the premises are spacious, bright and well maintained. Thus, it's always an enjoyable atmosphere in the public areas. A real plus is the close location to Duesseldorf and the short driving distance to Cologne. However, the hotel is best used for travellers with cars ony opinion. Prices are very reasonable for a four star hotel, and I can personally recommend this Dorint hotel full heatedly.

Nice hotel. Friendly staff. Close to tram/bus terminal. Parking secure at €22 per night. Breakfast good but I felt it was a bit expensive at €24 per person.

The hotel was nice, clean and the staff were helpful and efficient. Toiletries in the bathroom were lovely quality. We had breakfast one day - but although the choice was great it was very expensive in comparison to other hotels of a similar standard.

No WIFi! Parking very expensive! Room so so! I had a problem with my data plan from USA so i rushed very fast to the hotel to have the WiFi but they said they have a technical issue with internet and they will contact their technicians to resolve it. Result: I had big difficulties to contact my people here after arrival until leaving because the hotel had no WiFi during all my stay from my check in until check out!! Parking: Parking fees isn’t included in the price and it’s expensive for a hotel gust even if it for 24 hours! Room: Size or furniture are very normal. I found it also a little bit expensive compared to other hotel in same categories. There were some issues in the room but they fixed it fast. Breakfast: 18 Euro! Breakfast ok but there is nothing special. I think 18 Euro is also a little bit higher price for the breakfast. Facilities: there is no facilities like gym, sauna or swimming pool or biz center. Nothing!! The location: It’s better to go to Düsseldorf. There is nothing around the place!
