Upon arriving at 5pm, we weren't able to check in because they were behind getting the rooms cleaned. This was explained right away and we were able to checkin with in 20 minutes or so. The room was clean, comfortable, and well appointed. This is notable knowing the staff was working hard to get rooms ready as customers were waiting. They could have taken short cuts, but it didn't appear they did. The rating was knocked down for 2 reasons 1) for breakfast to be included, it would have been an additional $65 for 2 people. I'm not opposed to paying extra for breakfast, but $65 for 2 people is too much. We found a diner and ate a healthy meal for half the price. 2) We looked for coffee & tea to grab before leaving. We couldn't find any so asked the front desk where it is located. The front desk said there was NO complimentary coffee available until after 9:30am which was close to when the breakfast time was done. In addition, water for tea was lukewarm. Is it really worth withholding coffee and hot water to get people to pay for breakfast? It's coffee, not top shelf bourbon.

Clean, quiet, comfortable and convenient location. Staff were very courteous, friendly and helpful. Bathrooms were tiny and a little dated. No free buffet breakfast, but many options in Ithaca within few minutes driving distance. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again.

Not a "bad hotel" necessarily I booked it during 4th of July and ended up REALLY overpaying due to the following: -Requested 2nd floor suite and given a 1st floor suite with a broken door (needed to try the door handle several times to get it open even after depressing the handicapped button (per instruction)). -Shower head was extremely loose in wall and wiggled when you turned the shower on/off. -Didn't get any room service, bed remade, new towels, etc. -Couldn't sleep at all. Ice machine was on the wall next to the room and other guests were using it at 1:30 a.m. then again for 20 min straight at 7:00 a.m. on the same day. -Exit door was right next to the room as well so all you heard during your stay was the door slamming the entire time at all hours. Once again, not the worst hotel but I paid almost $600 for 2 nights and could've had a much better stay at a different hotel for a similar price.

A Marriott Courtyard is not doing housekeeping is bringing them down to a motel 1 property. It seems you need to ask for housekeeping but they not even inform you. Even if they did informed me it is a motel standard. really low class.

originally dealt with Steve when booking and was told that of the 6 rooms booked we should be able to get in early on some as we had a wedding to get ready for. directed to call back about a week before stay and i did. found out Steve nolonger there and spoke with Mike who stated they were fully booked the evening before our arrival and to call mid to late morning on arrival and they would see what they could do. made repeated calls the morning of arrival and kept getting sent to a voice mailbox and no return call. Arrived and dealt with a nice kid who looked swamped and unsure of what to do. he radioed his assistant manager "cassie" who refused to come to the front desk and assist him leaving the poor guy overwhelmed. was told later by another employee that 'Cassie" was a terrible manager who none of the employees liked and only had her job because her mom was the manager. No id was requested for the bookings at check in and at least 3 of the rooms were issued door key cards to different people in the wedding party and most had to have the key cards reporgramed at least 1 time and mine i had to have doen 3x as they were not working.

Arrived and dealt with a nice kid who looked swamped and unsure of what to do. he radioed his assistant manager "cassie" who refused to come to the front desk and assist him leaving the poor guy overwhelmed. was told later by another employee that 'Cassie" was a terrible manager who none of the employees liked and only had her job because her mom was the manager. No id was requested for the bookings at check in and at least 3 of the rooms were issued door key cards to different people in the wedding party and most had to have the key cards reporgramed at least 1 time and mine i had to have doen 3x as they were not working.

originally dealt with Steve when booking and was told that of the 6 rooms booked we should be able to get in early on some as we had a wedding to get ready for. directed to call back about a week before stay and i did. found out Steve nolonger there and spoke with Mike who stated they were fully booked the evening before our arrival and to call mid to late morning on arrival and they would see what they could do. made repeated calls the morning of arrival and kept getting sent to a voice mailbox and no return call.
