Sea Purse, St Margaret's Bay by Keepers Cottages
Sea Purse possesses possibly the most stunning location of any house on the South Coast - every visitor testifies to that. Sitting directly beneath the White Cliffs of Dover and a balcony’s width from the beach, this historically important house was previously leased by Noel Coward in the 1950s, with Ian Fleming leasing the adjacent house. Read James Bond’s Moonraker novel and it’s clear Fleming drew inspiration from this beautiful location. Coward’s friends - Spencer Tracy, Katherine Hepburn, and Evelyn Waugh among others - were frequent visitors. Sea Purse amazes every visitor. You can enjoy an uninterrupted, panoramic view of the English Channel, wake up to the sound of the sea on the shingle, look forward to long days on the beach, and relish relaxed suppers on the wrap-around balcony. This superb beach house is located at the far end of St Margaret’s Bay under the White Cliffs. It's just a few footsteps to the beach. Sea Purse was completely renovated in 2022 and is beautifully decorated throughout with great care and consideration given to the decor and furnishings to reflect its coastal position. With three bedrooms and two bathrooms, this property sleeps 8 and is an ideal family home or for guests looking to stay in unique accommodation.

For fire safety reasons, smoking or vaping are not permitted inside or outside the property at any time. Please no charging of vapes or e-scooters and lastly, please do not use candles in the property. Please note for insurance purposes the number of guests must not exceed the total occupancy of the house. This property accepts a maximum of 6 adults at one time. Please be respectful to neighbours. Quiet hours are between 11pm and 9am. Parties and loud music are not permitted. Stag and hen parties are not permitted. This house is pet free, no dogs, cats or other pets allowed at any time. Guests must not use Blue Tack, Selotape or similar on any of the walls to hang decorations/banners.
