Great hosts Could not do more to make your stay any better. Went way beyond the norm even providing us with an anniverary dinner as other options were closed due to the fires in the area.

Cosy comfortable accommodation with the best breakfast and excellent hosts. Can understand why it is so highly rated! We were lucky to be the only guests so had several enjoyable conversations as well. Loved the outdoor heater area too ... πŸ”₯πŸŒ›

One of the best B & B experiences I have ever had

Very comfy room, wonderfully friendly and helpful hosts from the minute we arrived. Breakfast is delicious and generous so leave room or skip lunch. Happy evenings spent with a wine in front of the chiminea, and feeding Topsie the sheep and her friends. A great spot to see the surrounding area from. Would recommend this very highly. I told our host I almost never give 5/5 because there is always room for improvement but I had to give Ashdowns top marks because frankly, I couldn't find anything to fault, and if we needed anything it was seemingly never any trouble.

We stayed here overnight with a toddler. Gary the host was there to welcome us and the room was spacious enough for the three of us. Gary contacted us before we arrived, making sure if we have any food allergies or whether we would bring our own portacot. He also mentioned that the accommodation have a high chair which was convenient. We enjoyed our stay very much, breakfast was very delicious and would loved to stay longer to explore.
