Hotels with a Gym in New Mexico

Front desk staff was very nice and friendly. The rooms were fine the TVs had a problem we had to call for help to get it to work. The swimming pool had towels all over it kids pushing jumping in squirting squirt guns towels were all over the workout equipment in the fitness center. 12 people in the hot tub.

I adore this hotel/lodge. The vibe is southwest/Native American and very cool. The artist's rooms are a special treat. I especially love the indoor/outdoor pool and communal area outside. BUT...the last two visits we were unable to use the pool/hot tub due to large families having parties. Children were doing cannonballs in the hot tub while adults were drinking and oblivious. The pool had so many adolescents playing Marco Polo that it would have been impossible to swim. The noise level from screeching pre-teens was ridiculous as they chased and pushed each other in the pool. The noise was amplified as it bounced off the hard surfaces. I'm not a Debbie Downer. They're just kids having a good time. But there was party food everywhere; hot dogs, potato chips, sodas and a large amount of mustard spilled all over the floor. I'm wondering where the hotel management is? All that was needed was a mild intervention and everyone could have continued enjoying the area together. Other couples entered the area and then left after observing the chaos. We stuck it out as long as we could...but got splashed too many times. I could have complained but then I would have been the mean old lady. I'll miss the cool vibe of the place, it has been a wonderful experience in the past, but not now.

A perfect place in Santa Fe to save money but still feel close to it all. You can walk right to the amazing things in Santa Fe. Plus, the bar had good food and good beer.
