Gorgeous little place in very quiet area

Photos of the apartment are quite accurate - Carymil has done an excellent job of decorating and appointing the space. It's a cute one bedroom with a gated patio. Bed is comfortable, and the space really feels instagram-worthy. She was EXCELLENT to work with - gave us all the information we needed, was attentive and responsive. The property is in Desert Hot Springs, and a bit far out into the desert - if you're looking for quiet and peaceful, you'll get it - also the view of the valley from the property is lovely. It was a little remote for us, but if you're ok with a bit of a drive to get into town and want quiet, it's perfect.

Very nice, quiet and comfortable! And Village Donuts!

We had a very good stay here. This is one of 4 suites in a small complex. The check-in process and communication with our host was simple and seamless. The place was very clean and everything is in good shape. The bathroom is great and the shower is very good! Besides a little local traffic noise, it's so quiet out there and such a nice view over the valley, especially at night. The place could use a bit more furniture in the living area, notably a coat rack or somewhere to hang your things when you come in, maybe a small table by the door and/or under the television. It's just a little empty in all that space. Also, the flooring in the main area was all curling at the edges and was missing entirely in the bathroom, just bare concrete there. Given the recent wet weather, I'm assuming that there has been some water damage that will be repaired as time permits. This didn't negatively affect our visit, but if you're exceedingly fussy, it's something to note. Also, there's a rag rug in the living room that catches sharp seed pods from the outside. Wife had one poke a hole in her foot. I dug a handful of these little things out of that rug. Wicked little suckers. Village Donuts. Best ever. Go there.
