The room was old and needing a lot of updating. The hot water often turned off in the middle of a shower. The WiFi wasn't strong enough to browse the internet. Never saw the daily housekeeping that is listed. The room only had two desk chairs to sit in and a big open space in the corner for a comfortable chair, it was also missing an end table. I kept thinking "this place is a dump".

Baby roaches in bathroom, room coffee pot had dead spider in pot, took 2 people to open sliding door to patio and paint was bubbly and peeling and cherry on top...went to wash hands in sink and the knob faucet came off. I thought maybe i was on candid camera as a joke. NEVER AGAIN !! OH, food is way over priced and took 1hr and 10 minutes to get food (we were the only people in room) 6 of us!!! This place was really nice 40 years ago. It's dated, but still very clean and staff are great. Overall good value.

Great customer service

Overall, we had a nice day. The first day was a bit miserable because our room reeked of mildew. They moved us the next day, which made all the difference. All I can say is request a room with tile floors. The first one we had had carpets, and I’m sure people just came in from the pool and let water drip all over the floor. Our second room was far better, and the vacation finally started to look up. The Customer Service at this resort is great. The staff and restaurant servers are amazing. And the food in the café is pretty good.Now for the hot springs. They have a beautiful big pool, but it’s not heated, so impossible to swim in this time of year. The smaller pools were great, but they got crowded until 8 PM. Apparently, people can purchase a day pass to visit the resort, and once those folks cleared out, there was plenty of room in the smaller pools. All in all, I would stay here again as long as we got a hotel room with tile floors.

For 300 bucks I was expecting a really nice hotel instead i got a hotel that has the same furnishings it had in the 70s which would be ok for 70 a night no 300 staff was great and did their best but owner should be ashamed charging 5 star prices for a two star hotel.

We didn’t even check in the place was incredibly run down and there were people in the parking lot cursing smoking and all together did not get a pleasant feeling about staying there. We turned around and went home. I’d like a refund but understand that it was past my cancellation window. I feel like we were miss led and this place was not at all what we were expecting :( date night ruined
