Check-in line took forever, the desk lady did not tell us where the elevators were. Got to the room felt like mid 80s, we turned down the heating unit and it ran continued to run hot. We informed front desk and she said no other rooms were available. Put groceries in the fridge at night and didn't realize till morning the fridge also did not work. Beds were uncomfortable and didn't sleep well.

We stay here twice a year for a week at a time. The king room is spacious. The bed is very comfortable. My only nitpick is that the towels could be bigger.

Decent Stay

Nice spacious room with good layout. Only strange thing was- we came back after a day out to grab coats before dinner and the place was surrounded by 4 cop cars. Wasn’t 100% sure if it was safe to go in & yo to room. When I entered- two staff were at check in desk- so I asked what was going on and was given a funny look as if to say- none of your business. I asked again, and what I believe to be the manager (female)- answered rather curtly: They’re handling something for me”. Just seemed a bit strange to allow me as a paying customer- to feel unsafe by withholding an explanation.

We have stayed there before when coming down to visit our son's family. My son has five children so staying with them is just to much for this grandma and grandpa. Best Western Plus gives us our quiet time in the morning and in the evening when visiting.
