One staff member in particular was extremely rude. It was also apparent that one of the two front desk employees was in training and, at times, left to navigate the situation on her own while attempting to assist me. As a walk-in guest, I found it unusual that neither staff member was willing to accommodate me without requiring that I personally book the room online. In all of my travel experiences, this has never been an issue. Despite the unusually long check-in process, the visible frustration, and the dismissive attitude displayed by the employee I assume was responsible for training, I remained patient throughout the interaction. Unfortunately, the issues did not end there. The room I was assigned had clearly not been cleaned or prepared for a guest. There were towels on the floor, the bed was unmade, trash left on the counter, and the ironing board and iron were out. It appeared as though the room may have been briefly used by a staff member preparing for a shift. After notifying staff that the room was not guest-ready, I was instructed to return to the front desk for a new room assignment. I was told the best option available was a double queen room, despite the website showing availability for king suites. Given the circumstances — including the condition of the original room, the extended wait, and the poor overall experience — some form of accommodation or upgrade would have seemed reasonable. Most disappointing, was the way I was spoken to and treated.

Refill the fridges with water but other than that my stay was amazing thank you!

We found the place to be so vey pleasant from the time we walked in. The front are is large with reservation in a corner and then chairs and tables throughout the large room used for breakfast, TV study, whatever. The area was sunny and inviting in every way. Great coffee was available 24/7. Breakfast was good and plentiful. I had the oatmeal with raisins, brown sugar and almond slices. Delicious and a great start for day. Our rooms were large, comfortable and very well-maintained. All is all, this was one of the best stays for a long time. I commend it to your readers.
