Pre-check-in proved time efficient, but felt pressured, as if I was going to lose my room if i didn't pre-check. Hotel is very tired - can't imagine they've renovated in the last 50 years. Hallways, elevators, everywhere, just not tended to.

The windows were drenched and wet. The curtains were spotted with mold. All along the bottom of the windows were covered in mold. I have asthma and slept in this toxic room. I only discovered the next day. Will never stay here again.

I chose this hotel because of the 8.2 rating, and i was very disappointed. The lobby is fresh and clean, smells good, the hallway to our room, although clean, reaked of animal urine. Our room had blackout curtains, which couldn't be opened because of privacy issues. We were on the 1st floor and our windows faced the road and a house across the street and the other one faced the parking lot.The heater was behind the thick blackout curtains, which again you couldn't open because it was under the windows. I tried folding the curtain up, but my hairclip wasn't strong enough. My pillows felt like it had knots in them. My bathroom mirror was dirty, the shower walls had mold and the tub had a very slow drain, so the water would back up. I purchased the breakfast plan, the first morning was a la carte, the second morning was buffet style. The young lady seemed overwhelmed because we had to ask to refill the bread and milk 3x and left me standing there waiting for it, meanwhile the restaurant had only 3 tables occupied. The juice also finished, but didn't bother asking for a refill because i didn't want to wait again. My sister also had issues with her room being cold. She brought it to their attention, they claimed that it was checked, but in the evening they ended up sleeping with extra layers on.

Original room - toilet kept running and it wouldn't flush. The mattress was clearly beyond it's expiration date due to a massive body sized crease. Heater was extremely noisey especially every time it cycled on-off. The staff was GREAT! They quickly upgraded me to a larger/better room and everything worked properly. They also provided TWO full breakfast vouchers.

Staff was great! Rooms need an update! Lightbulbs out every stay, never get the heater air to work, when I do it only lasts a couple of hours then there’s nothing it just stops!

Staff, not cordials and do not care or listening your inquiries. I have a disabled kid and I requested to get me a room close to the elevator… wrong to asked, we were thrown to the other side of the elevator, 2 blocks away. I did also ask for a room changed, they did but still very bad distance from the elevator. At the end we had no option but to cancelled our staying and leave.

The staff was very friendly. However, the hotel is very tired and can use some updating. There’s lots of wear on some of the furniture. The room had a musty smell. The walls are thin and you can hear people talking in the room next door.
