We had an excellent stay at Punta Leona! The rooms were comfortable and very well maintained, and the breakfast was delicious with plenty of options. Every single staff member we interacted with—from reception, room service, the restaurants, the bars, and the entertainment team—was incredibly friendly, professional, and attentive. Their warm hospitality truly made us feel welcome throughout our stay. The resort offers the perfect combination of adventure and relaxation. We especially enjoyed the birdwatching and butterfly activities, where the guides were knowledgeable, passionate, and friendly. Between the nature walks, beautiful beaches, pool activities, exfoliation sessions, and excellent gastronomy, every day was a wonderful balance of exploring the jungle and ocean while also taking time to unwind. We highly recommend Punta Leona to families and to anyone looking to experience Costa Rica’s natural beauty in a peaceful, relaxing setting.

The rooms were clean, the beach was beautiful, the pool was convenient for the children, and the staff provided warm, friendly service.

The restaurant was excellent morning, noon and night...but with the night eating it is only reservations ONLY at 6,7,8,9....but you cannot make them there at restaurant, juist at the front desk. I e-mailed them to make reservationes for that evening, and 5 days later still no response so I am very happy I made a special trip to front desk to get it taken care of. Food was great. Only problem for me was no ice machine in building #3 as I walked the floors one evening for 15 minutes and finally bumped into a local maintaince worker and he said only 1 is on the bottom floor by registration. Sad, usually there is one on all hotel floors near the elevators.
