Great view the code from the bedroom.

I enjoyed the coast in the redwoods and the Jacuzzi tub in the room and looking out the window and seeing the ocean and things is amazing

The room was clean and comfortable with views of the Bay, the building lacks soundproofing the pipe noise is noticeable, but I was able to sleep well. The staff is friendly and helpful, they have a coffee machine with tea and chocolate in the lobby, The Good Harvest Cafe nearby serves a good breakfast. The hotel has plenty of parking space, and is very well located. Overall I recommend it.

Room is clean enough, outside needs lots of work

Outside of the room was gross. We were really worried walking up the stairs that we had made a mistake booking this hotel. The room itself was clean enough, beds were okay. Laundry room gets shut down and locked at 9:00 PM, though the lady at the front desk told me it closed at 10:00 PM. Which was really crappy considering we had planned on doing laundry and only got to our room at 8:30 PM. We had stayed in a few different hotels nearby and decided to try this new one on a whim. I'd stay at the other hotels again for sure, but would only stay at this one again if the others were sold out. It wasn't terrible, but felt dirty. Plus, while we were walking up the stairs to the 3rd floor, we hard a huge dog barking at our noise and that grossed us out even more.

Dumpy but spacious

Pros: Central location. It was a good home base for all that we wanted to see. A 2 hour drive in any direction was the most we had to travel. Cathy, at the front desk was very nice. Affordable and spacious room. Cons: Old and a little scary, to be honest. Although a good, central location, it was right next to a liquor store with a lot of transient people passing through. In the 6 nights we were there, housekeeping never came by once. We had to ask for extra towels and toilet paper and if we didnt set our garbage by the door by a certain time, it would stay there until the next day. Crescent City should be named "Missed Opportunity." It could be SO MUCH more than it is. Not a lot in the way of shopping or decent, affordable food options, especially when traveling with kids.

Perfect for a nights rest while enjoying Redwood national and state parks all day. No working AC but luckily a storm came in and the temperature stayed cooler. Was a cheaper option, but worked great for the price and time of stay.

Probably wouldn't stay here again. It's just your average outdated roadside motel. The staff were very friendly but the place needed an overhaul. Tub faucet was extremely hard to use. There was a lot of homeless in the area. Kids enjoyed Ocean World next door.
