I was presented with a different configuration of room when I arrived. I had architectural work to do and needed a good sitting room and desk. The room w two beds I was offered was claustrophobic and I turned it down. Unfortunately the hotel said they could not refund my payment and I had to ask Expedia to seek reimbursement. ( which they did, thankfully) This is the first time I had issues w the Sandman, it has always, for decades, been my ‘go-to’ in Cranbeook.

The Desk Manager was obliging and set us up in a newly redecorated room close to the lobby. We were able to store a bicycle overnight as well, peace of mind knowing it wouldn’t get nabbed We just miss a breakfast option!

Overall happy with our stay, bed was very comfortable, hotel is showing its age a bit, bathroom needs a reno, looks like the carpets and furniture have been updated, tv could be bigger but it always can be bigger lol, i'll be back next time i stay in Cranbrook for sure, price is on point
