This place is absolutely beautiful! Do not hesitate to stay here . You will be amazed at the gorgeous rooms , porch , pool! But what really is special is how wonderful the owner Martha is! Our stay at Hillcrest Mansion was a 4 star experience in every conceivable way. This magnificent house has been meticulously restored. From the gorgeous period antiques to the dinnerware, every element is in pristine condition. But there’s nothing antique about the amenities, From the beautifully appointed, updated bathrooms to a jaw dropping gourmet breakfast, this was our most enjoyable — and indulgent— stay at a bed and breakfast. The owner (Martha) is a warm and gracious host and as an added bonus, you get her charming and entertaining parents. Highly recommend!

The B & B did not disappoint. It was a delightful experience. A wonderful hostess as well as a great Chef. Breakfast was a culinary adventure with new tasty breakfast dishes each morning. Martha, the hostess, is a very nice lady with interesting conversations. She is attentive with her quests and goes out of her way to see you are accommodated with any need and comfort. Totally worth the stay, the residence is clean, large, private, quiet and cozy. Definitely a gem!

I normally do not rate lodging unless there is an issue that they need to address but this is the exception. I could not recommend Hillcrest any higher. It was a treat to stay, great hostess with gourmet breakfasts. Well worth going out of the way to stay there.

This property rates at the TOP of the list. Its as elegant as the Greenbriar and Homestead in terms of the property and rooms. It is stunning. Martha is a wonderful host and she is so elegant in her special touches....antiques, crystal, place settings, even in the room crystal glasses with little doilies on top with crystals weighted down. Magnificent Crystal Chandeliers. Historic touches everywhere. You will want to come back!

Everything about Hillcrest is spectacular! All inclusive is an understatement, from the time you arrive the hosts provide anything you could want. Beautiful mansion and rooms. The host is a superb chef and the breakfast, and her cookies, were delicious! We will return!

Beautiful country estate with fantastic owner. The home is decorated impeccably, including beautiful artwork, rugs, silver and linen napkins. Martha and her family were so warm and welcoming. Fabulous amenities with fresh baked cookies, coffee, right outside our room in the morning.
