The staff was very friendly and went out of their way to help us! Free soda and water when we asked where we could buy some. We asked if the breakfast would be available the next morning before the usual 6 am, because we had to meet our fishing guides at 6:00, and the told us they would make up some sack breakfasts for us to go! In the morning they opened early AND still gave us sacks of fruit, yogurt, muffins and juice! Service with a smile is still the norm in Montrose, CO.

No Microwave in Room

Hampton Inn Montrose does not include microwaves in the rooms. To be fair, the listing does not indicate they do. But in 2025, one would assume rooms include microwaves. When we asked the person at the front desk about this, they seemed disinterested in the feedback.
