Highly recommend. Absolutely beautiful place beautiful location. Whoever was working the front desk, I believe it was the Owner, was outstanding took personal time to give us directions to everything and answer all of our questions. They gave us the materials for s’mores for the fireplace Outback highly recommend don’t miss it.

This place is amazing! There is free hot chocolate or coffee in the lobby. She has smores kits that we could have for free and a fire pit out back every night, with blankets to wrap up in. She made us feel so welcome and had great information about the town. We will definitely be back!

If you’re heading to or near Ouray, you’ve got to stay at Timber Ridge Lodge! The rooms are spotless, the lighting options are cozy. They’ve thought of the details when it comes to amenities right down to the s’mores kits and blankets for the nightly fire pit, or towels you can take to the local hot springs. The view is absolutely gorgeous, and there’s a walking trail right out back that follows the Uncompahgre River. We went the last weekend of October and while the leaves had mostly fallen, but it made for a peaceful trip without the crowds. Brian and Julie are such warm, welcoming hosts and really make you feel at home. They are right near Box Cañon, Cascade Falls, and Ridgway State Park. Our family has a wide variety of interests and we were able to please everyone with this trip. We are definitely going back.

Remodeled room with all the amenities. The bed was very comfortable, towels soft and customer service exemplary. They had a binder in the room with lots of info about the area including restaurants, hikes and activities. I look forward to staying there again.
