Staff were very hospitable and helpful. The s’mores and fire were a really nice touch - as well as the hot drinks in the lobby. Building is a bit dated - so upstairs guests can be heard if assigned a first floor room. All-in-all, great value for the area.

The front desk lady was an absolute pleasure, I’m bummed I didn’t catch her name. Very personable, made sure we had everything we needed. The fire pit and smores was so fun and relaxing Will definitely stay again.

I don’t usually write long reviews, but I felt compelled to share our experience this time. During our kids’ spring break, we passed through the Denver area and decided to stay one night at Timber Ridge Lodge in Ouray, CO, as it was conveniently along our route. It turned out to be a wonderful surprise! The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming, the room was spotless, and you could really see the owner’s thoughtful attention to detail in every aspect of the space. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the complimentary marshmallows were a fun treat for the kids. The breathtaking mountain views made us feel like we were in Switzerland. If we’re ever in the area again, we’ll definitely choose to stay here again. Thank you for such a memorable stay!

Loved Jo at check in, she was great. Clean, comfy, n onvenient location, right on rte 550, 5 minute walk to town. No iron on room, only thing. Great info on hiking trails, fire put at night out back with blankets for guests. No breakfast, However, go to Artisan bakery, great coffee and baked goods. I will definitey stay here again! So peaceful and beautiful.

I highly recommend Timber Ridge. The rooms are large and clean. The property is near the river and one can easily walk to the hot springs or to the town center via the river path. To top it off, smores in the evening! Big thanks to Kelli for being such a wonderful host!

Would not recommend this property to anyone! Paid for 2 nights and only stayed 1. The beds were very uncomfortable and every time you rolled over they made a loud noise. The room had a very strong smell of bleach, tried to air it out and it didn't help.

I felt like a guest in someone's home more than a "room rental". We had offers to carry luggage, s'mores by the fire pit, free towels for the Hot Springs, and a beautiful sitting room. The rooms are small but well-appointed. Kelly was helpful identifying hikes and restaurants.

Although we were not able to make it, due to weather in the area making it harder for us to make our way, the staff were amazing in just keeping in touch with us to make sure we were safe. I appreciate that more than anything being we had just got in an accident during the crazy snow when passing Mountain Village. But checking on us even though we couldnt make it is probably the best thing ever. I appreciate ya'll and my family thanks you. We did indeed make it back to Texas safely.

This is a nice roadside motel/hotel in Ouray. If you need a reasonably priced option in Ouray, a 1-hour 15-minute from Purgatory Ski Area, this is a fine option. That said, if you are looking for luxury of any sort, look elsewhere. This is a solid option for those looking for a comfortable, clean bed.
