First let me start by saying the staff is wonderful. They're very friendly and was extremely nice at check in. But that was the only good thing about the hotel. I booked two rooms. Heading to the room we noticed that the lobby furniture and all the carpets were filthy. There were scratches on the walls and black marks. Once we got to our rooms within 2 minutes we noticed clusters of bugs around the ceiling. After looking closer they were Japanese ladybugs. I went down to notify the front desk. They swapped that room. We noticed a couple in the 2nd room but just killed them. However all night we kept itching thinking one was crawling on us.
Once we got in bed, I kept scratching my foot on something and initially I thought it was crumbs which is gross because it would have come from the previous person, but when I pulled the sheets back, it was a dried booger. On top of the bugs, booger and dirt, a moldy smell was coming from the bathroom. There was mold in the shower. I wanted to check out and switch hotels but I couldn't afford take a chance on the $100 hold not being released for me to have another hold with a new hotel tying up funds. We were in town to visit my mother in law before she passed away, so having to deal with possible confrontation was a lot.
I contacted the hotel once we made it back home and gave my feedback and asked that I either receive a refund or a Hilton credit and was told I would receive a refund. Never received it.
