I stayed at the Best Western Plus in Columbia, MO during the week of Thanksgiving and had a great experience. The entire hotel was clean, smelled nice, and felt well taken care of. My room was excellent—no complaints at all—and made for a very comfortable stay. The gym was surprisingly spacious and well-equipped. It didn’t have cleaning supplies available, but otherwise it was great to use. Breakfast each morning was more than enough with plenty of options. Parking was a good size as well; the only thing to note is that the lot is mainly in the back and there’s no entrance on that side, but it wasn’t a major issue. Overall, I had a really positive stay and would absolutely return. Highly recommend!

I only stayed on night and the very poor front desk clerk gave me a handicap room. I didn’t know why because I’ve never requested a handicap room. He did that on purpose, but I didn’t complain because I was only there one night, but I will never come back. Ever.

The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is the proximity of hotel to highway. Loud all night long with truck/car traffic. However the hotel is clean, staff friendly, breakfast has alot of variety, hot and cold.

I had to make a rush trip to Columbia and reserved a room for one night. I was amazed at how nice this Hotel is. It has gone through a total renovation at some point, and my room was very, very nice. I'll start with the entry and move forward. New lovely wide wood flooring (also in the Bath area), new carpeting, new furniture, which included a large closet, two side tables, wooden enclosed shelving for Refrigerator and Microwave (3 drawers under shelf). Big screen TV and Desk. I had a King sized bed (very comfortable) and new lighting fixtures. Bathroom, sink and wooden stand with shelving, outside the bath area, new tub, shower head, new lavatory with shelving above for towels, etc. If I had anything negative to say, it wouldn't be about the Hotel itself, but the location (next to I-70). I was awakened around 4:30, which is probably the time most Semi's are on the road. I had my white noice machine and the fan on, and eventually fell back to sleep. Highly recommend this lovely Hotel. To be honest, I was looking for an affordable Hotel, and this met all my expectations.

When we first checked in, we were directed to a room on the top floor that obviously had a major ceiling leak - towels covered the furniture and a trash can was positioned under a water-stained ceiling. I returned to the front desk and was reassigned to a different room that was much nicer. Our room was comfortable and we had a quiet evening.

It was clean, friendly staff. Breakfast was good, and the 24hr coffee was the best. Only bad thing the indoor pool was not heated. It was super cold.
