It was a great stay! The complimentary breakfast was really nice with made to order omelets, etc. The staff was very friendly. The indoor pool is nice, great for families. Easy self parking. Little frig & microwave in room with a nice size tv. Free WiFi. Nice and quiet restful sleep on a comfortable bed. Cost was very fair. I would highly recommend this hotel!

Loved the scenery! The breakfast was awesome and so were the people who worked at the facility. The beds were very comfortable! We had 2 small children with us and walking upstairs with them + elevation sickness was a rough time but not a deal breaker. Quiet at night, conveniently located to anything you could want. The Dutch bros nearby was a major plus for us😁 the TVs didn’t work well, ours continued to blink in and out, wifi did not work, & no cell service, which was great for an unplugged vacation, but with two toddlers it was inconvenient. Overall a great stay and would recommend to anyone looking for an indoor pool with comfy beds & a good breakfast 😁

This property is privately owned. It is spotless, beautiful, and much quieter than I expected due to location. The staff was very friendly and helpful (except the little dude who scolded me for sitting down for coffee at 6am when food wouldn't be ready until 6:30). The breakfast buffet is the best I have ever seen. Brenda makes a wonderful omelet. From a beautiful pool to a GREAT restaurant to water dispensers in the lobby, The Academy Hotel is top notch. I would definitely stay here again.

I was especially impressed and appreciated the friendliness of the staff. My stay started out with a smile and I enjoyed my stay because of this. The complimentary breakfast buffet was also excellent. The bed in the room was verry comfortable. Overall, a comfortable, friendly stay. I would definitely stay at the Academy Hotel again. :-)

We won’t be staying here again. Our room smelt like perfume covering up cigarette smoke and when we tried to use the deadbolt to keep our toddler safe in our room, it was broken and we had to move a 4 month old, 1 1/2 year old and ALL of our stuff at supper time to a room completely on the other side of the hotel. When I spoke to the front desk staff, she didn’t even apologize for the inconvenience or offer a room upgrade or discount. The room needs lots of upgrading. The tub has rust and the vents in both the bathroom and bedrooms are caked in dust and fuzz. My husband found a hair in his eggs during breakfast and half of the food wasn’t refilled and choices were very limited because of that. The breakfast staff were very kind though and the beds were decently comfortable.

Location is convenient and the rooms are reasonable for the price. The staff was very friendly and responsive. Had to call maintenance several times. They were responsive, but seemed like lots of maintenance issues for one stay (lock battery died, heat lamp broken, mirror not securely hung, air conditioner not cooling). Elevator door was also having issues (reported by a fellow passenger.)
