Nice little hotel with friendly staff and easy access to public transportation (tram stop across the street). The RhineCenter mall is one tram stop away and there are several restaurants within walking distance, as well as a good restaurant at the hotel. The street noise is loud with the windows open, but it is quiet with them closed. The hardest part for my husband was navigating the stairs (no elevator). We would stay again!

Comfortable stay with excellent transport links

Lovely single room on the first floor. The road is busy with a tram stop right opposite, but it’s quiet and the black out curtains mean the street lights aren’t a bother. The room was clean and comfortable. The room wasn’t massive, but for one person it’s adequate. The staff were friendly. The heating worked well as it was cold outside! The WiFi is great and you can stream easily. Two areas for improvement, the hallway echoes, so when people come back at 2 in the morning you hear everything because there is nothing to absorb the sound, which is unfortunate. Also, whilst it is a single room 1 pillow and 1 towel is a bit rubbish. Two pillows and two towels would have made the stay much easier and more comfortable. The hotel is well located for eateries and the tram stop is a minute over the road. Would definitely recommend as a good value option in good proximity to Cologne.

Parking available and good size room for the price. Only issue was a staff member yelling from 10pm to midnight the first night of stay. I could hear it even on the 4th floor.

Older hotel, and the very nice staff almost made up for zero AC in rooms in July. Room temperature was stifling, even with a fan in the room. Probably lovely in cooler months though.

The staff was curt and mostly preoccupied with the restaurant patrons. The room was small and they had tucked the bed in the angle of the room where you could not sit on the bed without hitting your head. Bathroom was a good size though.

Het stopcontact in de keuken hing los. De kamer was verder kaal, geen nachtkastjes om telefoon o.i.d. op te leggen. Ook was er een luide pieptoon te horen van buiten de kamer, alsof er een batterij van een rookmelder verwisseld moest worden. Aangegeven bij de receptie, maar bij terugkomst 's avonds laat toch nog die piep. Gelukkig was ik zo moe dat ik alsnog snel in slaap viel. Personeel was erg vriendelijk. Het eten in het restaurant was uitmuntend. Ook andere gasten waren hier bijzonder over te spreken.

Bei unserer Ankunft am Hotel war die Beschilderung zunächst verwirrend. Mehrere Schilder wiesen auf den Hoteleingang hin, jedoch wurde uns die Tür von einem Mitarbeiter direkt vor der Nase geschlossen. Anschließend wurden wir von verschiedenen Angestellten darauf hingewiesen, dass sich der Eingang auf der Vorderseite befinde. Dieser führt jedoch ins Restaurant, was durch die Schilder nicht eindeutig zu erkennen war. Die allgemeine Atmosphäre während unseres Aufenthalts empfanden wir als unangenehm. Besonders negativ aufgefallen ist uns das Verhalten des Kochs: Beim Verlassen des Hotels am Abend wurden wir in unfreundlichem Ton wegen unseres Parfüms angegangen. Auch am nächsten Morgen beim Auschecken gab es weder eine Begrüßung noch eine Verabschiedung, stattdessen erneut abfällige Bemerkungen. Dieses Verhalten war respektlos, unprofessionell und hat den Gesamteindruck stark beeinträchtigt. Positiv hervorzuheben ist, dass es vor dem Haus kostenlose Parkplätze gibt. Weniger angenehm war dagegen, dass die Zimmer nicht abgedunkelt werden können, da keine geeigneten Vorhänge vorhanden sind. Das gastronomische Angebot haben wir nicht in Anspruch genommen und können es daher nicht bewerten.

Tragisch. Service null.

Wie die positiven Bewertung zustandekommen ist mir ein Rätsel. Vor der Eingangstüre große Mülltonnen welche riechen, der Abzug aus der Küche zieht direkt ins Zimmer und stinkt. Darüber hinaus ist das Zimmer mehr als fragwürdig was die Sauberkeit angeht. Sehr schlimm
