Room and facilities excellent but TV had no signal (Not needed,so did not report. Friday and Saturday night, noise from disco next door until 1.00 am. Despite good soundproofing from street noise, drumbeats intruded. Staff sympathetic and helped in every other possible way with my requests. Nothing was too much trouble and electric kettle provided on request for hot drinks in my room.

When we arrived the staff were so helpful, our room was ready early so we got to check in. The rooms were absolutely spotless and modern, the room was cleaned daily and fresh towels provided. The hotel is in a prime location, right near the cathedral and bars. We never had to use a taxi besides to and from the airport. Could not fault this hotel in the slightest. Highly recommend.

The staff was very good. The room was cramped due to awkward placed furniture. They need to remove a few pieces. Although, the bathroom was recently remodeled. The interior of the hotel needs updates. We have been traveling for a month now and the overall condition of this hotel would be towards the bottom, but still acceptable. The location is good and everything is walkable. Many good restaurants very close by. The main strain station is an easy 5 minute walk.

Great location

Great location in the heart of Cologne, two minutes from the riverside and Cathedral. The hotel staff are friendly and the rooms are comfortable, if a little dated. It was a brief stay but an enjoyable one. Would be happy to use again.

Needs an update!

It’s a very old hotel where you need an “old”key to manually open the doors. The elevator has a door that you have to slide open before entering. The service desk attendant was hesitant to go give us water.

Weekend break

Hotel itself was clean and comfortable. Lovely clean bathroom. Couldn’t fault it. The only problem for our room was that it was next to the bar next door. They had loud music and karaoke up until midnight and it kept us both awake both nights.

I loved everything about this hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I loved the location as well. It was close to the cathedral and Christmas markets. The room was nice as well. Overall I would stay here again next time.
