Not as close to the airport as you think, about 15 min walk. Listing says iron is included but there wasn’t. The heating system was temperamental. The bed was comfy though and also it wasn’t too noisy despite other reviews.

Nice hotel but cold room

The hotel was clean and well maintained but the room was cold and the heater was not working. The duvet was summer weight. When I raised this with reception they were not helpful.

Conveniently located about 10 minute walk to airport. Staff friendly on check in, but a request for more pillows was forgotten about. Room very cold and heating didn’t seem to work. We were literally only there for about 8 hours as had an early flight so didn’t care too much, but would recommend Holiday Inn instead.

Hotel feels a bit run down. The bedroom was cold, no obvious way to change this. Bed was comfortable though and slept well. Main benefit for the hotel is it is so close to the airport.

Paid £89 for the privilege of spending 3 hours sleeping in a room with no view that reeked of urine from the moment we stepped in. The only USB ports in the bedroom were broken, and when I asked the staff member if we could be moved to a room with working USBs, I was told to buy a charger adapter from a neighbouring hotel. Food service was closed when we arrived, and the only other option to eat in the area was to get delivery food which would have taken an hour to prepare and send to us. We did just need a cheap and cheerful room for the night before a very early flight, but this experience was ranked as one of the worst I’ve had in my 15 years in the UK. Next time I’d rather sleep on the floor of the airport and not waste my money.

Hotel is ok. Functional and busy. The hotel is fine for an airport hotel. Walking distance from terminal if you don’t have big bags. The walk is not very pedestrian friendly and up and down hill.

Disappointing and cold start at Ibis.

It was an awful stay. The room at the hotel was incredibly basic and worse still it was very very cold. After 1 hour it was still cold. We went to reception and they immediately changed it time without question. Excellent service, however, the room we moved to was no warmer and we did not sleep. The food in the evening was pretty much inedible and cold and very expensive for a club sandwich. The choice of alcohol was limited. They had no Guinness ( my first choice) then no Stella ( my second choice). A very disappointing stay in a very run down hotel. The staff were however extremely polite and efficient.

Very little power in the shower, not able to wash properly. The bathroom door was broken. Noisy air-conditioner. No information on the website for an additional £13.00 for overnight parking for the guests of the hotel. Otherwise- Very friendly staff, excellent service.
