Good location to visit spots off the main icefields route. Good on site restaurant and lovely walk to lakeshore. Rooms still feel a bit dated but are perfectly good for a few nights stay

The location is beautiful and the rooms have definitely been renovated but housekeeping seems to be very surface. The inability to get wifi in the room was a bit inconvenient. Over all the location the restaurant food and the proximity to hikes etc. made it an excellent choice.

Good stopping off point for Jasper. Nice to have a restaurant and food was good. Staff was helpful and friendly. Room was clean, but I would rate it a two star. You got what you paid for. We waited too long to book rooms and there really wasn’t much left. Book early for better selection.

This was a great location as far as trying to find somewhere between Jasper and Banff. The mountains were beautiful right next to the lodge. The Wi-Fi was not good. The restaurant was OK. The location was a little off the beaten track, but the drive was nice.

Beautiful location, I found it interesting that the front desk closed down early and that our keys to the room were left in a mailbox on the wall next to the lobby door, another quest that happened to be walking by told me where to find my room key.

Is a basic motel but room was as described and availability of a store and restaurant onsite was useful. Food and beer at the restaurant was good. Guy was super friendly at checkin but didn’t believe my son’s room was short of a towel when he subsequently went back on his own (though did give him an extra one). Overall good.

We stayed at David Thompson Resort during our Rocky Mountain tour and it was truly a highlight of the trip. The location is stunning, right in the heart of the Rockies, away from the crowds. The room was comfortable and clean, and waking up to that mountain view in the morning made everything feel special. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Overall it was a peaceful and memorable experience and we would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for something a little different on their Rocky Mountain adventure.

It is the drive to the property that is captivating. Beautiful Summer youth hired cleaners. Very good bed and bedding. Old, old motel style refurbished. Very clean room. Just passing through.
