Great location, not a hang out spot.
I must start off by saying that the staff and owner there were incredible. Super kind and ready to help with anything and everything. They called my tour bookings and spoke with them in Thai for me once they saw me distressing a bit, they let me keep my luggage stored there an extra night even though I wasn’t checked in that day. Just immensely helpful. The location was prime, close to the night market and considering the price was great if you’re not spending more time there than just sleeping. 10/10 for staff, very excited to have customers and considering they are just starting off I see this becoming successful if they correct some of the following things. Bedroom: Mattress was maybe 3” thick memory foam, kind of firm. There were a few mosquitoes buzzing around the room at night and I’m positive I woke up with a few new bites. So that kind of sucked. Annoying roosters next door never shut up. Bathrooms: Completely private so that’s a bonus, only one person per bathroom (there were 4 in my section) but it was pretty unsanitary. It featured a toilet and a shower in a small enclosed space meaning that if you wanted to use the shower you’re pretty much flooding the bathroom for 15-30min until the water drains out. Bring your own soap, they don’t have hand soap. They open the windows with no bug catchers so flies and mosquitoes occupy the space while you shower or use the toilet. Otherwise it’s really cheap with an awesome location, staff made my stay worth it.
