The rooms were clean and everything was close within walking distance. The AC kept the room cool. The staff was friendly and helpful, making suggestions about what to do in the nearby community. The breakfast was fresh fruit, freshly prepared, eggs, various teas, coffees, pastries, rice, etc.
Exceptionally friendly staff. The owner is also very helpful, and is happy to help if you need advice or tipps.
The rooms are comfortable, and the area is quiet - no traffic noise, no party area.
I definitely can recommend this hotel!
This was the perfect place to stay during Songkran. It was far enough away from a lot of the main action but close enough to walk everywhere and central to other parts of the city outside of the Songkran holiday. The manager was extremely pleasant and helpful, always with a nice word to say. For Songkran, they were thoughtful enough to provide water guns and plastic cases for your phone and valuables. Will definitely stay at Lee Chiang next time I’m in Chiang Mai.
Lee Chiang is a quaint boutique hotel in the Old City of Chiang Mai. The staff are very accommodating and welcoming. The front section of the hotel is so tranquil with all the plants. We would definitely stay here the next time we visit Chiang Mai!
A lovely stay here, really close to some nice main parts in the old city. Staff were wonderful (always willing to help wherever, taking cases up & down from the room, offering extra water, got our room ready for us 30 mins before official check-in, great food recs). Really recommend for a comfortable stay with lovely staff.
I really liked staying here for 4 nights and would definitely come back. It's location within the old city walls of Chiang Mai is perfect for walking around the historic city and seeing nearly all of the important sites. And the street is very quiet and tucked away from any traffic noise. The room itself was a bit dated, but that's part of the charm of the property itself -- which is very comfortable and cozy -- and honestly feels like home. The staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming. And the breakfast offered plenty of options to fuel me up for the day. Highly recommend!
This quant little hotel is tucked away in a quiet and nice alleyway. The owner and all staff were so nice and helpful. The breakfast is simple but perfect. A hidden gem for sure and I will definitely book here again!
1 week became 1 enjoyable month with great English speaking staff and a knowledgeable manager. Now my preferred stay in the old town of Chiang Mai. Easy walking to the best of the city
The hotel was very nice and reflected the website pictures.Room was very clean, bed was comfortable, AC & internet without issues. Located in a quiet area, but close to restaurants and in the old city. There is a self-service laundry 50mt from hotel. The staff was very courteous and provided great recommendations.
Very clean very safe . Great location very quiet next to a fantastic temple in the city quarter. Breakfast fantastic . Bike loans . Biggest reason to stay here is the welcome genuine and they want and will help with all your travel plans . Real gem highly recommended
The rooms were a bit on the small side, but very clean. The hotel management was most congenital in allowing us to make changes to our Expedia reservation, saving us another expenditure. Only complaint was the noise the door makes when opening with card, sounds like a siren and is annoying in the night when a neighboring room opens their door.
The owner of this hotel and the staff were amazing! They made us feel like we were very special guests. The owner even acknowledged my birthday, which he had noticed looking at my passport. Attention to detail is certainly present in this hotel.
We were there during the Loy Krathong festival and one day came back to the hotel to find a couple of decorations related to the festival and an explanation of the festival left in our room. The breakfasts were delicious. I would definitely stay here again if traveling to Chaing Mai.
Thom went above and beyond fir me. A third-party agent had lost my booking at a sanctuary. I had given up on retreiving my payment as i couldn't reach the agent. About 90 min later, Thom emailed me to say they had found the reservation and i was booked for the next day.
It must of taken many phone calls and a fair bit of time. I am grateful for her efforts and diligence.
I would definitely stay at Lee Chiang again.
Ideaal!
