Lights lights lights!!

Sometimes a hotel forgets it's primary purpose, which is to provide a place to sleep. Two things make it impossible to sleep in my room. One, the shade on the window is very thin and the hotel has bright lights over a patio area that shine through the shade. With the shade closed one could read a newspaper. Two, there is an asinine motion switch on the bathroom light that cannot be disabled, and every time one gets up to use the bathroom a bright light shines in your face. It is impossible to sleep because of the "amenities".
