I have family in Cheyenne, so whenever I go visit them, I ALWAYS stay at Red Lion. The staff is super friendly, and I love that there's a bar and restaurant on site. The rooms are older, but always clean. There's a fireplace and a space for just hanging out by the lobby. This hotel makes me feel welcome.

1. Bedding sheets were stained. With hair on it. Had to ask for fresh and clean ones. 2. The property is under construction, not welcoming at all. 3. Promised shuttle to pick me up from the bus stop was not available ( although was agreed in advance, on the eve of arrival) AC/heater was very loud, woke up with each start of the cycle

The check in was fast and the front desk person was nice. The room is remodeled from last time I was here and is so much nicer! Nice, clean furniture, laminate flooring, and a nice new bathroom! I also like the makeup remover wipes in the bathroom. Only reason not 5 stars is the breakfast is $10, wish there was a coupon or a discount for staying guests.

Breakfast was as expected, and there was plenty available! My room was comfortable but the floor was not clean. It looked like only the middle had been swept and not the edges. The hotel is undergoing renovations but as a whole is a nice place to stay. I liked that there is dinner available onsite.
