It had been 34 years since my last visit and I was so very happy to see this hotel is still here. They did not disappoint. We had a lovely lake view with chairs on the balcony. The air-conditioning worked great! There is plenty of places to eat plus it's just a short drive to the Indiana Dunes National Park. The sunsets there are pretty and on a clear day you can see the Chicago skyline across Lake Michigan.

The Waterford was great for our needs. We didn’t need a pool or breakfast, just a nice clean spacious room. The staff was helpful and the price was right! We will return next time we are in the area.

This hotel is clean and comfortable. All the rooms look out over a small lake. Very close the Dunes National Park and the cute town square of Chesterton. Wish they had coffee or breakfast, but overall quite nice 😊
