This hotel is absolutely amazing, and I do mean amazing, however I'm taking a star away for two reasons. There's only one drink machine in the entire hotel and last night it was down so we were stuck without drinks even though the paper they give you at check in clearly states there's one on almost every floor of the Manor and the Tower. The only machine is on the 4th floor of the Manor, which is a long hike from the tower. The second reason is there's only breakfast on the weekend so if you start during the week, you have to plan your breakfast options. Other than these things, it's perfect.

Disappointing

This stay was very disappointing. The door on the 2nd floor that goes directly outdoors was propped open on several occasions. I reported it to the front desk multiple times. I was told it was used as a short cut by staff. The front desk manager said that it wasn’t a safety concern. Also, the fridge in our room did not work and the tub was dirty and the stopper was broken.

Okay stay - bathtub was a mess

When we walked in, the place was spectacular. When we got to our room, our bathtub was in horrible condition. It looked old, in the midst of repair and gave the appearance of being dirty. We will be sending a complaint to the manager and Hotels.com. This hotel is not cheap and our expectation was that it should be perfect.

Had a unique old style while still being super nice and modernized. Hotel was clean, staff was great in all aspects, bed was comfortable. Only thing I could knock was price, but all the hotels in area were elevated due to the Ironman taking place.

As someone who has stayed at this property before, I will never return. While sitting at the hotel bar on Saturday evening, another hotel guest walked up to me unprovoked and struck me in the back. Not only were the security on site not helpful, but they appeared to joke with the person who openly assaulted me after the incident took place. This not only left me feeling unsafe, but I was made to feel as though I had done something to provoke said behavior from the other guest. I have still yet to hear from a manager about the incident.
