The room was not as described in the listing and the photographs provided are quite misleading. I needed to contact management to cut our stay short but no-one was available in the morning. I used the Wotif message facility to try to contact hotel management but did not receive a reply. The rooms are dated and the hotel layout is generally unpleasant without access to a suitable outdoor area.

Poor Value

Extremely poor value for money. Approximately ten rooms around a bland concrete rectangle at the back of a run down hotel. Shower barely hot enough at 4pm and 8am. No plates, bowls, cutlery or glasses to accompany the fridge and microwave. Staff made no attempt to accomodate us in the restaurant although this is the property’s principal claim to fame. Tiny rooms. The highest per metre tariff in our current two month trip.

Paid for my room but at check in nothing available

I booked a room on Hotels.com for this motel. I paid for one nights accomodation with my credit card and received a CONFIRMED RESERVATION. Upon checking in, the property advised me that there are no rooms available so I had to stay somewhere else. After contacting Hotels.com they say "we are trying to get in touch with the property but have no reply", then, next thing is that a refund cannot be given as it was a room which there are no changes or refunds allowed. I want my refund as it is purely a mistake between Hotels.com and the motel. A week has gone by now with no resolution, I don't recommend this property.

Our biggest issuse was that we couldn’t get a meal in bistro as we hadn’t booked and were directed to go across the road for takeaway The staff had a care factor zero Interesting that we received an email via Wotif about their wonderful facilities especially the Britsro and how they looking forward to our stay

Basically we got what we paid for. At 189cm the double bed was too small. The room was small, but adequate. A faint smell from the garbage was a bit strong. Great help the young fella though.
