Staff seem to be penny pinchers, with free breakfast items being minimally provided. For instance, even though there were 20 people in the breakfast area, they only kept putting 3 to 6 yogurts in the refrigerator, and only provided, almost empty waffle mix dispenser, and just a few packets of oatmeal instead of providing for all who might be there for the meal. It seems like they’re worried that people will just take stuff And not eat it right then… Not good customer service. When this owner took over a few years ago, it seemed they were fixing everything up and making it a nicer facility, but things are starting to run down and look not so nice anymore.

The hotel could use a little updating, but the room was fine. The mattress was excellent, my husband slept the entire night, which he doesn't usually do. The lady in the office was a delight, very helpful. The breakfast was fine, pretty much what you find anywhere, but it was good.

Pictures do not justify

I was not at all happy with the fact that the pictures online do not justify the hotel. Breakfast is worse than continental-not much to choose from. Tub faucet and shower head/water came out more from faucet than shower head. Floors are not clean and beds are very uncomfortable - lumpy. Not enough towels in the room - NO iron or ironing board and curtains did not cover the window completely.

Hallways smelt pretty bad. Breakfast is listed but the only options are yogurt and coffee, there was a waffle maker but was broken. Only hold things is the location, pretty close to dining options but Overall a bad experience.

The front staff was very kind. That’s the only nice thing I can say and the only reason I gave it one star. The property and the area around it are sketchy at best. Homeless folks sleeping in their cars in the parking lot. Homeless folks not sleeping in their cars, set up in the parking lot. The place looks and feels like something out of a horror movie. The elevator felt like a death trap. The included breakfast was stale cereal, not real juice, AWEFUL looking biscuits and gravy, the waffle machine was broken, the refrigerator was empty, etc, etc. Needless to say, we will not be staying there again and we ended going to breakfast. I recognize Super 8’s are only going to be so good. I guess we’ve been lucky enough to stay in good ones. This one is NOT!!!
