We had a nice room which gave us a view of the water which is about 2 km away. The unfortunate thing was we didn’t know ahead of time that almost every place is closed down that time of year. There are two grocery stores but we didn’t find any restaurants open. It’s just 40 minutes drive to Charlottetown so restaurants there were plentiful.

Quiet & the National Park is accessible by foot from it. A bit remote but the facilities on site are sufficient as long as you’re well stocked with food. Some of the cottages even had a small indoor jacuzzi.

We (group of 4) arrived well after dark to find our unit lights on. Everything clean and comfortable. Due to a short stay (2 nights) we only met one staff member (John), but spoke with Karl on the phone who was very helpful and followed up with text msgs. Highly recommend this lovely place to anyone visiting Cavendish. Many local businesses closed due to ed of season, but the bakery just down the road was a welcome find. Cavendish Visitor Center and Green Gables also open. Nearby national park a scenic drive even in the rain!

The view of the ocean nearby was beautiful. There were lots of options outside for the kids. It’s nice to have your own small space. Was great! Having our own kitchen was great and had all we needed in it. The bed was not clean. Otherwise comfortable.

We really enjoyed our time at the cottage. It was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. The area was quiet and peaceful — perfect for relaxing.
