Host provided quick and clear replies to any questions.Amenities supplied were of a good quality and quite extensive. All rooms including the bathroom were spacious especially the large kitchen lounge area which was separated from the bedrooms.
Goldfield Retreat was extremely comfotable, spacious and well appointed. Just a stones throw from the centre of town it was very convenient, no car required to shops or amenities.
The beautiful garden made the house feel even more homely.
Castlemaine is a really pretty town, we loved our time there.

This is a charming property close to the centre of Castlemaine, which makes it very handy to shops and cafes. We found it to be clean with a well-appointed, modern kitchen and large, comfortable and family-friendly open dining / living area. We especially liked the fireplace which added warmth and atmosphere in the chilly winter evenings. We'd definitely stay here again.

Great house, great location
The house was really well presented and clean.Our host was helpful and friendly with prompt notices and replies.Check in/out really easy, and it’s a short walk into the Main Street.Highly recommend.
