    Accommodation In Carnarvon

Are you looking for a tropical paradise? Then why not head west to Carnarvon? Choose your Carnarvon accommodation from our range of hotels and holiday parks in one of Australia’s most beautiful regions.

Perched on the coastline of Western Australia, where the Gascoyne River meets the Indian Ocean, Carnarvon is 900km north of Perth. First settled in the 1880s, Carnarvon is a thriving mining, agricultural and fishing area. A great way to start exploring this gorgeous seaside town is to visit the Carnarvon Heritage Precinct and the Lighthouse Cottage Museum to find out more about the area, and then walk or take a ride on the Coffee Pot Train down the famous One Mile Jetty.

Carnarvon is perfect for exploring the surrounding regions. You will soon discover that the Carnarvon coastline is a paradise for water sports of every kind. There are opportunities for fishing, snorkeling, surfing, swimming and windsurfing - all within easy reach of town. You can visit a nature reserve, plan a coastal walk or take a scenic drive. You’ll be in some of nature’s most beautiful places wherever you go but there are a few must-see spots. The Bibbawarra Bore is only 22km from Carnarvon. Discovered in 1905, it is 914m deep and constantly gushes hot water that can be up to 68°C. It was originally collected and cooled to provide water for sheep and cattle. Rocky Pool is along the Gascoyne River, 40km east of Carnarvon and is a perfect place for a bush picnic if you’re looking for peace and seclusion with animals and birds for company. A little further afield, only 75km north of Carnarvon, you will find the Blowholes – an amazing natural feature. The power of the ocean waves forces jets of water through narrow holes in the rocks, sending them up to 20m high. Nearby, a peaceful coral lagoon ringed by white sand is a beautiful contrast. You can go snorkeling, see the colourful fish up close and afterwards find the perfect spot for an alfresco meal.

All of your gourmet dreams will come true in Carnarvon. Whether you are packing a picnic basket or dining out in one of the many restaurants, there is a feast of local produce available. Tropical fruits, vegetables and every kind of fish and seafood can be bought fresh from the plantation, garden or boat.

Take a two-hour flight from Perth airport and you can be among all this coastal splendour. Book your flights to Carnarvon and Carnarvon hotel now and get ready for an unforgettable experience.
