Great stay

We had a fantastic stay at Residence Vive La Vie. We were warmly greeted upon our early arrival and were very happy that they were able to have our room ready (after a very long flight). Our cottage was spacious and well appointed, and the bed was very comfortable. Location is about a 15 minute walk to the center of town, very convenient. The breakfast was phenomenal, fresh cut fruit and made to order dishes prepared by some talented chefs every day. Highly recommend!

Beautiful property and very close to the wine tram. 15 minute walk to Main Street but easy to get taxis at a very reasonable price. I would definitely recommend this place to stay in franschhoek.

What a delight!

We had an amazing stay here. The place.is lovely and the staff were brilliant. It was so comfortable! We had spent the day on the wine tram, which was lovely. The room was exceptional - it was so comfortable and generously sized. The breakfast was delicious and service great. Would definitely return if we go back to the area.

Excellent service by host. Parking available for a car or 2. Room clean and comfortable however was very cold. This ruined my stay. Needed extra heater. Used aircon to get some warmth. Shower was good. Main disappointment was not refunded for part of stay as had to leave 2 days early.
