There were bunnies hopping around and obviously used to people walking by. The property was landscaped and well maintained. It was about a five minute walk to the beach and they offered lots of optional free extras like a cookie when you check in, water, hot cocoa and tea in the lobby, movies and popcorn as well as beach chairs and towels for the beach. You could easily walk to Haystack Rock and downtown Canon Beach (on the beach). I wouldn't walk on the windy road but it wasn't far! There was also a yummy continental breakfast offered and cute coffee shop across the street. Overall, the inn was very thoughtful and welcoming.

Very comfortable stay and great service! Close to beach and a cute pub. Otherwise a little bit out of the way from the downtown area but a quick drive. My 2 year old had lots of fun playing with some of the other kids in the garden area.

The staff is great and when they say they are dog friendly, the treat their canine gusts like regular gusts, providing water bowl, treats, a towel and sheets to cover the bed and sofa in the room. The rooms are very clean with added convinces.

Warm, very attentive staff provided lots of extra hospitality; dog basket for the comfort of our fur family member staying with us, cookies at check in, complimentary dvds and popcorn…. Our room was clean, comfortable,cozy gas fireplace which was very welcome on a wintry wet stay at the coast.

Disappointed. Wanted a nice quiet weekend in the coast, what we got was not relaxing at all. During the holiday weekend, woke up 2 mornings in a row to loud maintenance / cleaning activities in the room above us. Sunday night at 6:30 pm, went to ask the front desk what was happening above the room, and the response was just a casual they should be done soon after a day full of scraping, hammering, etc. Not sure how work is scheduled on a holiday weekend like that at all hours, but at least tell people in advance. Would have chosen a more peaceful place this time, now it will be every time. I have to add the question is there any maintenance activity at check in. Very disappointing.

Wonderful room with fireplace, big bathroom and walk in shower and towels folded like shells and so cute I didn’t want to use them, but I did! very clean, lots of little perks, staff was very nice.
