What is unique about the property is that there is not cleaning service, or considerate. We stayed 3 nights, and there was not an option for changing sheets or cleaning bathroom etc.. It’s more of a time share hotel. I wasn’t prepared for that, but as long as you are, I guess it could work. We had door dash for coffee in the morning, and was never offered the service of getting it delivered to our room, but they wouldn’t allow door dash to bring it up either! The pool and workout area however were beautiful and well maintained and clean. The view from the pool is gorgeous!

The staff was very helpful. I liked the concept of the phob key but they didn’t work very well in the elevator or at the room door. I also just came to relax not sign up for a time share.

Upon arrival at the hotel — after a long journey and with a confirmed reservation in hand — I was informed that the property was overbooked and could not honor my booking. Shockingly, neither the hotel nor Expedia made any attempt to contact me in advance to notify me of this situation. There was no email, no phone call, no alternative arrangements proactively offered. This is not just an oversight — it is a clear breach of contract and a total collapse in operational competence. Worse still, I was forced to accept a last-minute relocation to a different hotel, which was of demonstrably lower quality and in a less desirable location. This disrupted my itinerary, wasted my time, and significantly impacted the quality of my trip — both personally and professionally.

Loved the oceanview and the bath tub!! We stayed 3 nights and really enjoyed the stay. One tiny thing that was annoying was that the lady who was really pushing us to become a member at the time of checkin. We just wanted to get to the room to relax after hours of travel.

Room was beautiful and clean. Very large 2 bedroom unit and it even had an ocean view and the category booked was a city view room so that was a nice surprise. A ton of great restaurants and shops all within walking distance.

Time share nightmare with added freight train

Great location, awesome city can’t beat Oceanside…… but, did not realize it was a vacation club. Upon arrival at 9 at night we were suckered into a time share meeting for 2 days later. We were incentivized by a $100 each gift. The meeting was awful full court pressure to buy in. No means no!( our initial sales pitch was given by a very sweet 21 year old surfer) but took 4 rounds to say no, and get our gift. So no housekeeping, you need to call for your towels and hand dirty ones over. We were on the train side so 3-4 freight trains at night( ear plugs and white noise machine provided) if I go back maybe check out the hotel next door. It is near the Top Gun house for those fans.

Staff were awesome! Friendly, kind and helpful They made a difficult experience with my older mother easy. They were patient with her when she arrived exhausted and a tad overwhelmed. They made sure she was taken care of. From the valet, front desk and vonierge all were wonderful. Staff changed each day and all were amazing. The property is newly updated and completely wonderful and comfortable.

I usually love this place, I can relax, no worries and forget about work. This was the worst. I was confronted by a young lady to sign up or attend a function (that's her job) and she was very sweet and understanding (sales pitch). Thats her job. I recieved a call from a young man and he told me that the young lady was getting written up because she didn't do her job. I explained to him that its not his place to tell me about any kind of disciplinary actions towards another and other things (no I was not rude) and the young man hung up on me. When I tried to contact the front desk and have someone contact me on this incident no one did. Very disappointed in them. I go to vacation and relax not to teach others or to have someone I was in contact with get written up. This left a bad taste with this company. I tried more avenues to get something resolved (as of today, still nothing). I'm not one of those people (think of it as you'd like) I will stick up for what's right. Again not a far left or right thing this is a "right" thing to do. Bottom line it's not my business what goes on behind the scene but it is to get resolution and know that they actually hear me (a customer) and take steps to resolve an issue.

Couple get away

Our stay at the Wyndham was great, the room was clean, bed was comfortable. We had a mini fridge and microwave which came in very handy. Restaurants are close by, and the ocean is right at your door step. I would definitely stay there again.
