The location of this property was absolutely breathtaking. But the hotel itself is extremely loud— I could hear every movement of other customers to the point I knew when they were using the restroom, it made it very hard to sleep. The rooms could use an upgrade.

Great stay

Amazing view! We stayed 2 nights at the hotel, and it was perfect for us. The parking for Pico Ruivo and the Nevada caldeira Verde is only a short drive away, and when you get back from adventure; a swim in the pool or a soak in the jacuzzi is just the right thing. The panoramic view from our room was the cherry on top!

Stayed here on a whim after deciding not to stay in Funchal again. It was so peaceful and the views were incredible. After all the hiking we’d been doing the hot tub felt so restorative.
