Cabin interiors were tired and cooking facilities were poor. Clean, comfortable and quiet location.

Hi Ted. Thank for noting on how quiet and comfortable our location is :) it is amazing to hear nothing but birds in mornings and ocean roaming in the distance! We acknowledge that the facilities are of an older style; as the park being under the new management, we are currently developing an exciting masterplan to upgrade all our facilities. We would love to welcome you back again in the future and are confident that you will enjoy the changes that have been implemented.

It was a nice weekend although very wet, I was disappointed with the decor around the kiosk. Last time I was there, there were comfy lounges to sit and read have a coffee. The whole atmosphere has changed 🙁

Hi Kaj, Thanks so much for your review, and we were sorry to hear that the décor and atmosphere was not what you experienced previously. The park is under new ownership and management, and we take all guest feedback very seriously. Due to a group we had in last week, the furniture had been moved around, and we are also in the process of sourcing new couches as the previous were no longer suitable. We hope that with these changes, plus many more, that you will have a much more enjoyable time time next time you visit.

Worst Accommodation in Northern New South Wales

The teepee was disgusting. Certainly not glamping. And the staff were extremely rude and racist. Absolutely disgusting overall experience from a park we have stayed at many time.

Hi Dave. We are disappointed that you obviously had a bad experience in the past; however we can assure you that the park is indeed under new ownership, and also under new management. We trust that you will have a much better experience on your next stay; please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any further questions.

Nice walk to secluded beach.

Pros: This is a very quite place to stay and the grounds are very well maintained, with a good mixture of Cabins and Caravan/Motor-home sites.
Location: A reasonable drive to shops and restaurants in the Ballina township. Lovely secluded beaches nearby.
Maybe it was our fault for not asking or confirming, but on Wotif it states "Bathroom - Partially open bathroom and shower" but in fact there is NO bathroom in the cabin and you need to use the General Facilities Block. Unfortunately we didn't find this out as we arrived after the main staff had left for the evening. The staff rang and were good in explaining where the keys were and directions for finding the cabin. As it was a 1 night stay this may have been a nuisance, but not impossible to cope with. I think the statement about the bathroom needs to be stated clearer.

Will not recommend.

The cabin water was really bad. The images on the website do not reflect what you see when you get there.

Hello I am sorry that you didn't realise that there is drinking water tap, and another tap for washing up. There is a sign there, but not everyone sees it I guess. The drinking water tap is purified rain water and is delicious. The other tap supplies sterilised bore water and has a very strong taste, but is quite ok to drink. All the photos on the site of our cabins are taken off a I phone by a non professional photographers of the actual cabins. We ensure that 'what you see is what you get'. It is important though that you read carefully what is included in the cabin was we have super budget cabins to superior with all the bells and whistles. So it might be that you haven't actually booked the level of cabin that you wanted. Kindest regards, Rikki General Manager.
