Before you pack up the car and head for the mountains, know that when we say mountains, we really mean it!

Downtown Bryson City has an elevation of 1,752 feet, so think of this as a starting point. The majority of our cabins will have a higher elevation than this. This means that our roads- both state and private- will be steeper, narrower, and curvier than you may be use to driving. Also, you should expect to encounter gravel roads. Consider it part of our rural mountain charm!

Here at Yellow Rose, your safety is our priority. If a cabin requires 4 wheel, front wheel, or all wheel drive to access it, it will be listed in the description. If bringing or riding motorcycles, please call and ask for motorcycle friendly properties. If you have any concerns about accessing your rental, please call prior to your arrival and we will be happy to discuss it with you.

Yellow Rose Realty has top rated customer service and has been Locally Owned and Operated Since 1995. We are a company that gives back to the local community and we offer our guests 24/7 Emergency Assistance. View our list of adventure partners to get Special Discounts on Popular Attractions!

Nice place

The weekend was nice. The cabin was ok. The dishwasher leaked water out so we never used it, but we paid for it. The gas logs didn't work at all. But we paid for it. The WiFi worked as long as you only used one phone or laptop at a time. It would freeze up if you tried to use more than one. But we paid for it. I don't like paying for something that is broke and not working.

Not Bad. Not Great.

I stay at a lot of places usually with the other booking website and thought I'd give a VRBO a chance. I was a bit scared after reading some recent reviews. It looks like they're trying to improve, but some things still need to be fixed/cleaned. This property isn't in as bad a location as described in some reviews, though the road is a bit bumpy on the way up. It's the mountains, though, and that's pretty common. You're also very close to downtown Bryson City, so that's a bonus. The house was fine, though the internet was fairly nonexistent. I mean, there's a router and everything but it's there for decoration mainly. We've stayed in more secluded places in the area and had perfect internet, so I think something is up either with the router or the neighborhood needs some infrastructure love. Luckily, we've encountered this problem before in Western NC and used personal hotspots on our phones. The hot tub had a funky smell so we opted not to get in. I'm not sure if the cover needs to be replaced or if the tub just needs to be deep cleaned. The rental company called me the day before checkout to see if everything was okay, which was nice. I told them about the hot tub and they apologized. I do think things like that + the lacking internet are a big dealbreaker when dropping $ on a place in the mountains, especially if you try to get work done in the mornings before little ones wake up/after they go to bed. The house was pretty quiet and our daughter enjoyed the cats who visited. The rooms were spaced out and it didn't feel like you were on top of each other. Overall, a peaceful place but could use some work.

I can't find the right words to describe the incredible vacation I experienced At North Carolina,Tennessee and Smoky Mountain 🏔 and the beauty of Coyote cabin! Every single person should go there, visit these places, cities like -Bryson City, Cherokee, Gaitlinburg and Pigeon Forge -the hometown of country singer Dolly’s Parton.

Need to fix

The Wi-Fi was a weak connection to work. The beds mattress on both beds hard as a rock. The hot tub temperature would not work. The house had kitty litter in front of a bathroom vanity. Everything else was good.

Mountain escape

We had a wonderful visit to the Smokies! The property management was receptive to our needs. We had furry cat visitors, which didn’t deter our visit, however allergies to cats kept us inside or in the relaxing hot tub.

Not again

Upon entering the house, I discover the front door was unlocked. Once I made sure we had no unexpected visitors, we inspected the property to discover a broken wine bottle in the freezer, causing the freezer to leak. I tried to contact the Realty company SEVERAL TIMES. I was unable to get anyone on the phone. There were several items of trash in the yard. On Saturday afternoon, a man arrived to mow the yard. I asked him to come back after 10:00 on Sunday. The hot tub is old. I decided to let it run before entering it. When I returned a few minutes later, it was FULL of bubbles, obviously not been cleaned and we were not able to enjoy it. I still have not been able to speak with the realtor. I am VERY disappointed.

Lack of amenities

When we first arrived there was no a/c, they had it fixed in a couple of hours. But then we noticed that we’re was no internet, so the tvs would not work properly and we didn’t have service most of the weekend!

Much Needed

Very nice cabin with lots of space. At top of mountain community. Mountain veiws for days. Be prepared for internet to be in/out. WIFI is provided but it was out during our weekend stay. Also the hot tub worked but struggled to keep up in temperature due to colder temperatures outside. But still served it's purpose for a short soak.

No Connection

The cabin was great. Don’t stay at this cabin if you like Wifi and cable. Very poor connection and couldn’t watch the football games. The internet was terrible. Contacted the rental company and informed them of our issues. They blamed the location of the cabin. We were in a populated area close to town. I should have asked for a refund or discount for all our trouble. The hot tub was slimy

Meh

The layout was nice. The size was fine for 4 people. The hot tub had a dirty brown ring around the inside. The icky part is that we didn't see it the night we got in. The cook top was smeared with greasey residue like the glass wasn't given a good final wipe. The neighborhood was really jammed up with a rental cabins and double-wides with full time residents. There is no real view. Just a neighborhood and powerlines. The garbage can on the back porch was full of someone else's trash. The Coyote Lamp on the hearth needs to be removed it has a serious short in it. I unplugged it so the cabin wouldn't have an electric fire. So renter beware.

Many things not working

Cable and wifi not working. Fireplace blows but not working. But hot tub was warm never hot. Main reason we selected this cabin.! With 9 calls to complain nooone ever called back. But 3 times I finally get someone to answer. The last time they said they send someone to check the hot tub. We left it on when we went to town. We came back and it was off. It never got hot just warm. Shower was hotter. I have asked for a partial refund. As if yet still have not heard back.

Wonderful, relaxing stay

The cabin is absolutely gorgeous. Kitchen and linens were fully stocked. The only downfall with the cabin is the road leading up to it. We luckily had a 4 WD vehicle, or we may not have made it up the hill. Rental agency was very responsive to questions.

Beautiful cabin! We'd stay here again.

The cabin was clean, comfortable and stocked with the essentials. I did a lot of cooking and the open kitchen was a pleasure to work in. There was just the two of us and the pups, but with two private bedroom/bathroom combinations, plus another half-bath, it easily could have accommodated a much larger group. The mattress was very comfortable, as was the furniture in the living room. Plenty of dining seating as well, with 6 seats at the table and 4 stools at the island. The large TV in the living room worked well, as did the one in the bedroom. The view from the front porch was beautiful and we were able to enjoy it and the hot tub even in the rain since it was all covered. The road up to the cabin was steep and fairly rough, but we didn't consider that a negative. Just part of the adventure! The cabin is also not remote, you can see neighbors all around. But none were close enough to feel intrusive and there were no noise issues. The only negative we experienced is that the internet/WiFi was very weak and unreliable. However, the Yellow Rose Realty team was very responsive and did what they could to help. They were great to work with.

Perfect location

My daughter and I stayed at Coyote Crossing for a mother daughter trip. We visited Franklin to Gatlinburg. The location was perfect to visit so many locations. There is a grocery store and gas station near by. The cabin itself was perfect and provided everything we needed. The porch faced the mountains and the area was quiet and peaceful. Cell phone service is spotty but that's to be expected in the mountains. We will visit again. Thank you for being a wonderful host!

Amazing vacation rental for 4 adults. Location was perfect for our planned activities. Convenient to grocery store.
