Royal Exchange Hotel - Broken Hill Hotels

Royal Exchange Hotel

"Very well located, elegant older style hotel."
Location is very central. We loved the balcony -both in the evening and for a morning cup of tea. The room was small but very clean and comfy. The dining room looked elegant and we had good reports of the meals served there. Breakfast was not included in our room fee -which did make it a bit pricey seeing as parking was a bit tricky. Staff were charming and helpful.

"Good location, but service availability could be i"
I was warned by the reviews that the check in staff were at the caravan park across the road, but I didn't expect I'd have to wait for an entire travel club, who arrived after I'd called on the courtesy phone, to check in there. The room was quite small and oddly laid out, but comfortable, with a good bathroom. However, I could not connect to wifi, because it wanted a password which the staff insisted wasn't needed. There was a bit of noise from people in the rooms either side talking when they came back about 10 pm, right outside my room.

"Good Tourist Resort close to everything."
We had a wonderful stay with the Broken Hill Tourist Lodge. We needed peace and quiet in the evenings and found that. The Lodge is close to galleries and the Station which is very handy. There is a small IGA opposite which supplied our cooking needs. The Proprietor and staff are friendly and helpful.

"Convo entry located and friendly staff"
From the moment we arrived the staff were very helpful. Andrew gave us lots of suggestions for sight seeing. The accomodation was what you would expect from Ibis, comfort, cleanliness and excellent customer service. I would highly recommend Ibis styles when staying in Broken Hill. limited onsite parking was not a problem with us but I would feel comfortable parking on the street in front of Ibis Styles if needed.
