It was an easy walking distance from the train station. Exit the station from the east side. It was a lovely walk along the river that takes you to the city and harbour area. More pubs and restaurants in harbour area.

Very convenient to Temple Mead Station and Bristol City Centre. Good breakfast that caters to different dietary needs. Would be great to have a plug by the bedside table to charge phones etc.

For a budget hotel, Ibis Temple Meads is what you'd expect - compact, functional and no-frills. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were hard and not at all comfortable.

Booked this Hotel for my Son who travels for Business regularly. When he checked in he had to return to the desk on 4 different occasions because the key card wouldn't work for the room, he didn't find staff very helpful and even asked him if he was going to the correct room number, eventually got sorted and received a room upgrade.

We chose the Ibis because it was reasonably priced and close to the train station. I wasn't expecting much and so was pleasantly surprised at how nice our room was. It was very clean and spacious and very quiet. The location is in walking distance (15-20 min) to the rest of the city centre and there are some good coffee shops and a grocery store in the immediate area. For 3 nights in Bristol, this hotel suited our needs just fine.
