Weekend stay for opening weekend at SDC

We are already planning our next stay. The guest house had a very homey feel, and the view is incredible. Being right next to the Steamy Joe Cafe was a nice bonus too.

Wow, what a pretty place! Our room was so clean and the bed super comfy!! We enjoyed the view and loved having a fireplace. There never did seem to be anyone on-site, though. We had hoped to pay cash for our room once we arrived. Not a big deal. We had breakfast at Steamy Joes both days, stuffed hash browns and avocado toast, yes PLEASE! We will stay here again.

Loved it!!

The room was amazing! It was super clean, very nicely maintained and thought put into the decor. It was very quiet, hardly heard the people upstairs. The restaurant was as fantastic and their coffee was awesome!! Would definitely stay again!!

Everything was great except for the cleanliness, the comforter was not washed and there were stains on the sheets and curtains. The Jacuzzi tub was never cleaned out properly or the jets because I found a rose petal stuck to the underside of one of the jets and ball of hair in the filter. We ended up running a full tub with hot water and there was a lot of dirt, hair and other things that came out so we had to disinfect and clean the jet lines and tub ourselves. Other than that the property was beautiful.

Amazing Quiet Calm

Wonderful stay. Clean cozy room. I hope to make it back to stay again in the nicer weather. Only improvment i could think of would be some type of black out curtain added to the window to help block the porch lights at night. Very happy we chose here for sure.
