Historic building that is well maintained. The interior of the first floor is gorgeous. The only issue is, they dont have an elevator and we were on the 3rd floor and we are 71 and 70 years old.

This lovingly restored property has been on our list for some time. We love the Arts and Crafts esthetic and this Inn epitomizes that more gracious era. We lived for a while in the area, but never checked it out. BIG MISTAKE! The room was small but comfortable and pristine and who would ever stay in their room with the gorgeous lobby area right there! Plenty of comfortable seating encourages either quiet contemplation or lively conversation with staff and other visitors. The bar and restaurant are beautifully restored and congenial. The staff were helpful and friendly but also not intrusive. The grounds are generous and well maintained. We saw several well behaved dogs coming through, so we assume they are dog friendly. We are a Service Dog team and were treated appropriately and graciously throughout our stay. Food and cocktails were great. We have reason now to be traveling between Red Lodge , MT and Spokane, WA and in future, we will be timing our drive to two short days in order to become regulars at this most perfect accommodation.
Beautifully restored and (most importantly) comfortable lobby
My cousin learned to walk on this porch in 1953 when my grandfather was working on the Anaconda smelter. Be sure to get a s’mores kit to use on the fire pit!

We loved exploring this historic hotel. There are lots of great photos and the staff is very knowledgeable and happy to share the history. The restaurant wasn't open during our stay, but we enjoyed the convenience of the pub downstairs. The food was very good!

The hotel is cool and old but as a result, not very modern! No coffee, fridge, etc, which was fine. Very comfy bed. Just my bad luck but there was a VERY disruptive guest down the hall whom was up all night screaming at his wife and keeping us all up. The hotel staff did not intervene. As a result I hardly slept at all. That was too bad.
